AWARENESS GENERATION PROGRAMME

An awareness program on female foeticide was organized at Verka schools to promote the message that girls have equal rights and the right to live with dignity.The function aimed to sensitize students and the community about the importance of saving and empowering the girl child. Dr. Rupinder Kaur Sandhu led the initiative with dedication and a strong message against gender-based discrimination. The event was organized in collaboration with the Central Social Welfare Board.

CONDENSED COUSE UNDER MINISTRY OF SOCIAL WELFARE

This special course is designed to help school dropouts complete their basic education. It provides learning opportunities in a flexible format for those who missed formal schooling. Subjects like language, mathematics, science, and life skills are taught in a simplified manner.

The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Project under Captain Gurdeep Singh Society is a dedicated initiative to promote the survival, protection, and education of the girl child. The National Child Labour Project (NCLP) under Captain Gurdeep Singh Society is a vital initiative aimed at the elimination of child labour and the rehabilitation of children engaged in hazardous and exploitative work. Under this project, the Society operates Special Training Centres (STCs) where rescued children receive bridge education, vocational training.

Under this mission, the Captain Gurdeep Singh Society has taken a proactive role in implementing and supporting SSA initiatives at the grassroots level, particularly in educationally backward and marginalized rural communities. Key objectives and activities under the project include: Enrolling out-of-school children, dropouts, and child labourers into government and government-aided schools. 

FARMER PRODUCER COMPANY UNDER NABARD

A Farmer Producer Company (FPC) is a farmer-owned organization formed to enhance the collective strength, income, and market access of small and marginal farmers. Under the guidance and support of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), FPCs are promoted as a means to transform traditional farming into a profitable, sustainable, and market-oriented enterprise. Key features and objectives of FPCs under NABARD: Collectivization of farmers to create economies of scale in input purchase.
